Marketing Coordinator

Job Description:
The Marketing Coordinator is primarily responsible for working with the marketing team to produce proposals, prequals, sources sought including but not limited to creative/technical writing, research, etc. as well as other misc. duties. 

Requirements:
Candidates should have a college degree in marketing or communications or a minimum two (2) years experience in marketing and business development within the construction industry.  Must have exceptional follow up and writing skills and strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Adobe In Design and Acrobat.  Familiarity with Cosential database is helpful.

Civil Project Manager

Location:

Job Description:
The Project Manager is responsible for the management of the Project Team, negotiating financial disputes and change orders with Owners, producing project schedules, coordinating subcontractors and field labor, liaison with owners, coordination of material procurement and delivery, project cost reports and effectively  providing documentation of changes that may affect completion or revenues. 

Requirements:
Candidates must have a B.S. degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering and 7-10 years of experience in heavy highway construction.  Must possess supervisory experience to manage Project Engineers, Superintendents, Forepersons and Administrative Staff.  Must be proficient with computer applications, superior knowledge of scheduling software, possess excellent written, oral communication, and organizational skills.

Civil Project Engineer

Location:
Chicago, IL

Job Description:
The Project Engineer will coordinate material procurement and delivery, produce project schedules, review and determine suitability of shop drawings and submittals, quote/qualify subcontractor requests for change orders, track change order status and requests for information, collect, verify and distribute as-builts, maintain project close-out documents, assist with field staff supervision, responsible for project quality control, be proficient at blueprint reading and quantity takeoffs. 

Requirements:
Candidates should have a B.S. degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering and 2-3 years of experience in heavy highway construction.  Must be proficient with computer applications for spreadsheets, word processing, and scheduling and must have good oral and written skills.

Civil Superintendent

Location:
Chicago, IL

Job Description:
The Civil Superintendent is responsible for day-to-day supervision of the project site and is directly responsible for project safety. The Superintendent coordinates material deliveries and supervises field labor for self-performed work.  The Superintendent also monitors subcontractor progress, ensures project completion dates and resolves field conflicts. 

Requirements:
Candidates should have 7-10 years of heavy highway construction experience, working knowledge of OSHA safety regulations, and good supervisory, communication and organizational skills.
