F.H. Paschen, S.N. Nielsen has completed two projects at Loyola University Medical Center: 1 - renovation of the OB/GYN floor (Phases One and Two) in the Russo Surgical Pavilion, and 2 - furnishing and installing a new Air Handling Unit to heat and cool the newly renovated areas.
The OB/GYN Renovation was performed in two phases to allow half of the existing facility to remain in operation while the other half was under construction. The work involved demolition of 10,300 sf. of existing OB/GYN facilities including classrooms, conference rooms, nurses’ stations and offices, doctors’ lounge, locker rooms, and special care and recovery rooms. The whole area was then remodeled into two labor/delivery rooms, a six bed ICU suite, isolation room, triage room, and support areas (storage, toilet rooms, nurses’ stations, etc.).
F.H. Paschen, S.N. Nielsen was also awarded Phase Three of the OB/GYN project which consisted of renovating an additional 2,400 sf. in the OB/GYN Department including two operating rooms, one recovery suite, one labor-delivery room, scrub room, locker room, etc. |
